The Faith Over Fear Coalition is a multi-faith, grassroots table of leaders and organizations across Chicago committed to spiritually rooted organizing that centers dignity, healing, and justice.

SACRED UNITY
We are one human family, endowed by our Creator with dignity. When one community is traumatized, we all feel that pain. South Shore, Bronzeville, Englewood—these neighborhoods have borne generations of trauma. Adding armed raids only deepens wounds. Instead of troops and fear, our communities deserve healing and resources.
OUR COALITION PRINCIPLES:
Courageous
Self-Accountability
Some may rationalize these raids, arguing about “status” or “warrants.” But our faith traditions demand mercy, compassion, and justice—not the weaponization of technicalities to strip away humanity. We call on all people of faith to reject indifference and embrace courageous accountability to one another.
Faith Over Fear
Fear is the tool of division. It silences, isolates, and makes people believe they are powerless. But our faith calls us to courage. Together, across faiths and communities, we will not be divided. We will not be silenced. We will put faith over fear.
